A year+ of planning

I wanted to try for a baby this time last year, but Frank and I had gone through a couple emotionally rough spells, we were looking to invest in property … and the last thing we wanted to do was to have you as an impulsive jerk reaction and then find ourselves unable to give you all the attention you’d need and deserve.

We ended up buying the place that you’ll call home, and started the arduous renovation.

Our next window to try for you was September/October, but there had been complications at the house, and the finish date looked quite a ways away.
December/January came and the economy was well on its way to collapsing. A week after we’d have tried for you, there were layoffs at work and all paid overtime was stopped. Two months later, there were more layoffs, and the work week went from 40 down to 36 hours. While our finances were dented, there was no real crunch for us. It just meant that we couldn’t rush ahead so quickly with the house.

In the meantime, I had been reading up on natural gender selection, astrological traits, and baby development and education.
This research is what let me to the months above.
Aquarius, Cancer, and Libra seemed to have the best core traits when paried with Frank’s Libra and my Taurus.

Let me be quick to say that I don’t read my horoscope online or in the paper, but I do believe that just as the moon effects the oceans and seas, and the sun holds planets in place, a human made up largely of water can be effected by the gravitational pull of stars.

So here we are, trying for an Aquarius.
