Weekly update

It’s been a while since I posted a weekly update.

Since the ultrasound in week 19, it’s been very difficult to gauge Eliza’s size.
On some of her measurements, she came in a couple weeks ahead of what her age really was, and in the end, they averaged her lengths at being more like a foetus of 20 weeks.

If I take the data from her estimated weight and apply the ‘average’ increases in size/weight, she’d be a 12-14lb baby measuring over 25inches by her birthday!!!

Somehow, I don’t think that will happen.
I certainly HOPE that it wont!

I feel Eliza move many times a day now.

She’s probably around 9 inches long, and might weigh some 2lbs.

I’ve been trying to be good about playing her some Bach when I lay down to go to bed, but admittedly I do forget at times.
She might be getting bored of Bach … maybe I should move on to Mozart.

She’s reacted very well to violins and flutes (high frequency).

Who knows whether she actually likes it or not.
Bottom line, is that her senses are being stimulated.

I read somewhere that her sense of balance should be just about in-place, and that she’ll know when she’s up-side-down and right-side-up.
I’ve definitely started noticing movements higher up.
They were always down towards my hip bones until this or last week.
