  • Weekly update

It’s been a while since I posted a weekly update. Since the ultrasound in week 19, it’s been very difficult to gauge Eliza’s size. On some of her measurements, she came in a couple weeks ahead of what her age really was, and in the end, they averaged her lengths at being more like a foetus […]

  • Weeks 12 & 13

The last two weeks have passed by uneventful. Frank took a photo of my profile last night, and I was actually surprised by just how far I’d popped out!! It would seem that the opinions differ on what size baby is … some say a lime, some say a peach … I say that’s quite […]

  • Weeks 10 & 11

I’ve been really bad about keeping on top of the updates, but these last two weeks have been relatively uneventful. The heart, brain, spinal cord, muscle and bones are beginning to develop, along with the placenta, which will nourish the baby, and the amniotic sac, which […]

  • Week 4

Actually, this is only the first week that I’ve known that I’m pregnant, and the end of the second week since conception … but because doctors count the first week of my last period as being week 1, this ends up being the end of week 4. Go figure.
